My Yoni

Dear Betty,

I only use the term "yoni" for a woman's genitals. The Sanskrit word "yoni" means sacred garden, womb, origin, or source. Sanskrit is a spiritual language used for religious ritual purposes, not for everyday use. "Yoni" is the whole female genital system, inside and out.

The yoni was highly honored and worshipped in ancient cultures. It is identified symbolically with the flowers orchid, lily, rose, and lotus. The four main parts to the beauty of yoni are the clitoral hood, the clitoris, the yoni lips, and the yoni muscles.

I have been creating a book of yoni photos. The project has taken more than 12 years to get 25 models to pose. Most women think yoni shots are dirty and ugly; these women are not yoni positive. Otherwise they would know the yoni is spiritual and gorgeous. My book, Celebrating Yoni: Being Yoni Positive, will have a drawing by me on the cover, an introduction by my favorite model, 4 close-up photos of 25 different women's yonis, plus 22 extra bonus photos and a bibliography. My book emphasizes the worship of yoni.

I have not found a book publisher yet. Everyone I have contacted so far finds my book inappropriate for their business even when I tell them that yoni is the spiritual term for a woman's genitals. I hope to find a book creator-publisher soon who is a yoni positive person.

Thank you! Love is all there is.
