Amidst the media blitz for Sex and the City II, there is a glimmer of reality. Kim Cattrall has revealed that most of her life wasn't sexually fulfilling ie she wasn't having orgasms.
I got out Kim's book "Sexual Intelligence" for the first time! There was a nice comment on the inside page to me: "Betty --- You are a wonder! Thanks for sharing your sexual intelligence with us. Best, Kim Catrall."
At the time, I was still a one woman CEO trying to do it all, so I never had time to look at books. I barely had enough time to write them. I'm mentioned throughout Kim's book. Quoted even, and they reproduced several of my pen and ink vulva drawings.
My friend and colleague Marty Klein does it again with his criticism of sex self-help books. I've put my name on hundreds of friends self-help books and have written a few myself. Rarely do these books change people's sex lives into roaring pornified partnersex with screaming mind blowing orgasms. That last one, "Mind blowing orgasms" is my favorite one to hate.
My books "Liberating Masturbation" and it's follow up "Sex For One" simply gave permission so people could enjoy sex with themselves without guilt. That's the best most authors of sex books can do.
