Hello!

I am searching for an effective means of birth control to use with my boyfriend. My OTC and OTC Lo are making me very dry, and lube isn't helping very much. Our sex life is being seriously affected. I considered an IUD, but have heard such horror stories, that I am no longer. Any ideas
besides the dreaded condom?

I agree with you about staying away from the IUD. Personally I preferred the diaphragm that didn't interfere with my hormones. It safely took me through America's sexual revolution, but it seems to have fallen from favor these days. Also there's the cervical cap but I have no experience with this. Most younger women are on the pill as the easiest form of birth control. Also be cautious about the latest one that reduces a woman's period to several times a year. I fear that's the pharmaceutical companies experimenting with women's bodies again. Let me know what you end up with.
