Dear Dr. betty,

In feb. 1999 thankfully, i survived a major stroke that left my left side paralyzed/numb., i had laid on the floor for 2-3 days, before being found. i have been told numerous times that 1/3 of the left side of my brain died. i have not ever had a problem with achieving a vaginal orgasm, but definitely do now. what can i do., i have challenges with self-pleasuring. what can you suggest? thank you in advance for your help/suggestions, sincerely, waiting for help.

You have been given a big challenge. The good news is the right side of our brains house the creative realm, so I'd say the best part is still functioning. My former webmaster Grant who recently passed away at 85 was a stroke victim with aphasia. He re-educated the speech part of his brain by creating my website in 1997 by using the HTML language. The site was up and running by 1998. The point I'm making here is that even the brain restores many of it's functions by having another part take over. The body also has many self-healing properties.

Although you didn't mention your age or current living circumstances, I sense a determined woman's voice in your email. Since you have the function of the right side of your body you can easily hold the Magic Wand electric vibrator on or near your clitoris and still enjoy an orgasm.
