I work in the adult industry, and I can tell you that while there is not a lot of porn made for women at this time, many of us young women in the industry are making strides in pushing it in that direction. I predict that within the next 10 years we will see an explosion of porn made with women in mind. I'm not talking storylines here, either, which is what old men in the industry think women like. I mean things that are hot to women!

I think I heard that Playgirl magazine was recently moved to internet only publication, but I used to find that a great resource of pictures at least. Look deeper into the gay porn genre; there is A LOT of content out there that's made for gay men and marketed to gay men that is exclusively men playing alone or posing in erotic ways. They used to sell all sorts of videos like that in the back of Playgirl but I'm not really sure where to find them now.

As far as female sex positive hetero porn goes, I find that any "fetish" porn that is focused on the female orgasm tends to be very hot for me. I am bi, so I can appreciate a good female orgasm, but you may find it less distasteful to look at in general because it's not all about man on top gets himself off using a vagina. Most of the content focused of female orgasm at this point is squirting, or female ejaculation, themed, but there are a few movies and websites about just regular old "real orgasms." These feature women either getting themselves off or getting a lot of attention from a friend, which I find to be very arousing.

My last suggestion to you is to check out any of the educational porn series done by Tristan Taormino. She is a sex positive, 3rd wave feminist sex educator who does some really hot scenes with education in mind, but believe me when I say education is not the sole focus of those scenes!

          Forgive me stating the obvious but don't take the average porn film out there as being representative of what women want in bed.  Sadly they mislead and this can lead to problems in how younger males regard females.

I think carlislerama's idea about looking up Tristan Taormino is a great idea. She is definitely an artist in how she can mix erotic footage with sex education.

I do hope in the future we can find more equally-gender based porn for couples to share together, as well as porn specifically for women to supplement all the porn aimed soley at men. I feel like a huge mindset shift in the industry will have to occur before this can fully happen and be embraced though.

What excites me is that Betty and Carlin are working to help rbing about such a change in many ways, and I can't wait to see what new aspects they bring to the table. :p
