Dear Betty,

I am new to your site and learning to properly masturbate. I have been trying to masturbate more because I am married and just feel so promiscuous. I love my husband dearly but he just does not satisfy me in bed. I have a friend I have known for over 12 years and we have sex. Of course my husband doesn't know but it's the best sex I have ever had. I just feel so dirty and hate lying but can't control my urges. Do I need help?

Dear Wife,

You are not a slut and there is absolutely no reason to feel dirty. The lying is unfortunate but experience has shown that most men can't handle the idea that his wife is fooling around, yet many of them do the same. The only help you need is to figure out a way to eliminate the guilt. It's a worthless feeling, doesn't help us grow and in fact keeps us stuck and miserable in an outdated morality play thanks to organized religions. If I were you, I'd continue to practice masturbation and enjoy your extra marital affair totally guilt free. Life is short so we owe to ourselves to keep it sweet.
