It's very easy to get labia reduction cosmetic surgery today. Most women don't know that the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology does not support these cosmetic genital enhancement surgeries and has publicly said that "it is deceptive to give the impression that [these procedures] are accepted and routine" and has stressed that their safety and effectiveness have not been documented. Also there are many false claims made about improving a woman's sex
life. That's one big fat lie. One woman wrote to me complaining that the doctor had done something weird to her clitoris that makes it feel "tied up." She's been miserable ever since the surgery.

I have a marvelous very long right-side labia that I'd never part with now. However in my uninformed twenties when far too many of us wanted to look alike with the latest fashion, I too thought my vulva was ugly until a lover explained it was his "favorite style." Think hard before you opt for surgery. It's expensive and the results are not guaranteed. When you see the before and after pictures, the surgical vulvas look like like flowers that had their petals cut off. Very disturbing!
