Better Orgasms. Better World.
Dr. Betty,
My husband and I are both in our late 20s. We've been together since high school and married for 4 years. Neither of us want children, and he has decided that he's ready to get a vasectomy, which I support him fully in. We've both read a lot about the procedure, so we know what to expect.... except in one little area. This may be a silly question, but, well... I've never had a man come inside me. We've always used condoms or the withdrawal method. We're both excited at the prospect of him being able to do this once the doctor gives us the go-ahead, but I'm wondering what to expect. Is it messy? Does some of the ejaculate leak back out? Basically, what happens?
Thanks!
Dear J,
No question is ever silly. You both will love the feeling of naked intercourse with the ejaculate filling your vagina with no worries of pregnancy. According on the amount of ejaculate he shoots (men vary) it can be messy and some will leak out. Most often, I would urinate afterward and by sitting there a few extra moments, most of the semen ends up in the toilet. Enjoy!
Dr. Betty
