And Pearl for clitoris...
Now that's much more empowering and beautiful than some other terms out there for our genitals.

Cunt!
I wish more women loved the word cunt. To me it includes all of the parts and it sounds so powerful and strong. When I hear vulva, I think only the external and of course vagina is just birth canal. I have used the term cunt for as long as I can remember and I think it will continue to be the one I use for a long time. I think most people who have a problem with word have a problem with the entire concept of female sexuality.
Is Vulva a Good Enough Word?
Well.. vulva does more completely describe the area... HOWEVER, I personally don't feel that the word does justice to the beauty of the female sex organs. I chose clitoris because I think it is key for many people to understand in what high esteem we need to hold the clitoris, the very key to most women's orgasm.
I suppose if I had liked the word better, I would have selected vulva - afterall the clitoris is included in the description of the world vulva, as well as many other important parts.
Personally, I wish we could switch the word vulva with a word like.. 'rose' or something more beautiful sounding. Or, perhaps I just haven't heard the word said in the right way before, and I could be enlightened. I hope to be.
