One night sharing a pipe we got the idea that "Betty" should interview "Carlin". Sober and menstrual I beared all...even my darkest sex fantasy.
Soul Mates
Hi girls...
I was a big fan of Betty's website-before you two joined up. And I love this site just as much or more.
It is so great to hear voices like yours talking about sexuality as a movement. In a way that seems so natural.
I like the theory that if humans behaved more like the bonobo using all forms of sex as a way of greeting/communicating/placating it would be a much more calm, open and loving world.
I especially wanted to comment on what seems like the most amazing chemistry between you two.
I know you have both agreed not to engage in direct sexual contact. And my question is why not? I believe you said it is because you would fall in love-and it would ruin everything or something like that...
And I agree that the work you are doing should be protected. But in my humble opinion-you both seem in love already. The way you look at each other on the video's, the way you so lovingly support each other and value and respect one another...
It just seems a shame that you wouldn't be brave-when the moment is right to experience each other. It seems like it would be awesome. You both seem plenty mature to handle whatever would come of your physical connection. Stop saying no-and say yes!
So Rightfully Free to Love
You two are something SO special. I cannot fully express how much of a pleasure it is to hear you two speak so freely and openly and unabashedly. It is such a relief to know that women can be that way. What a dream of mine that is. I find it so unfortunate how our culture restricts us, especially you women, from being so frank about sexuality, and tries to contain and control our freedom to even be sexual!
I am right with you both, about wanting to change this culture. I am so happy to hear that you have both given your lives to such a great cause! It only takes a young guy like me SECONDS of listenign to you two talk to realize that the blatant sexism and ageism our culture promotes is WRONG! you are both sexy!
I loved this podcast, because I had been hoping to learn more about Carlin. What an amazing woman! I have to say, the milk and snake fantasy just made me laugh, but then, fantasies are allowed to explore anything! I suppose maybe women would better understand that fantasy then I would! haha. I do understand the appeal of lack-of-control though. That can definitely be hot for us guys too!
Even hearing Carlin talk about being on her period seemed normal and even a little sexy ("feel like i need to be milked!").. haha! Right on! A culture where the women are so okay with their bodies, and happy with themselves... now THAT is a culture I would love to be a part of.
Though I have to say, I was disappointed to hear you both speak about your desires to be less into men! We can have good, feminist spirits too!
Your friend (just a one-way friendship, i suppose),
Joel.
