I'm sure you've all heard about the lack of female directors/screen writers in Hollywood. It's part of the reason that most films follow the same male formula (we love you guys but also like to hear a story told my a fellow woman) and it's all about size 0 actresses.

Well, this year 3 out of the 5 Oscar nominations for Best Writing (screenplay) went to women. Diablo Cody for Juno, Nancy Oliver for Lars and the Real Girl, and Tamara Jenkins for The Savages.

Not bad, ladies. And everyone is just crazy about Juno. To go from a stripper in Minnesota to an Oscar-nominated screenwriter in 1 year is a huge achievement.

God, I love a woman who's smart, sassy and sexy.

And Diablo Cody won the oscar. God, I loved her dress and her tatts. It's so refreshing to see a real stylish woman who hasn't starved herself for a month, spray tanned her body so that not one blemish is showing, and thanks her family for accepting her for who she is:
