Hello All,

I would like to share my How To Go Braless and NOT Draw Attention video with you. The purpose of this video is to allow women to feel more comfortable going braless in public. I decided to make this video after reading an article in Filament Magazine about the possible risks of breast cancer and the usually unwanted side effect of sagging related to wearing a bra. A few days after I read the Filament article I saw a video from Wild Orchid on Dodson and Ross regarding proper bra fitting. Dr. Dodson made a comment about bras being linked to breast cancer. While I definitely think this is an issue that needs to be looked at; I will not pretend to know if bras or anything else for that matter causes cancer. I simply want to give women more options when it comes to going bra-free. Feel free to add comments about how you feel about going braless and/or how you go braless... All carefree and jiggly or controlled and incognito???

Well, if I didn't get that

Well, if I didn't get that wonderful "pancake boobs" effect, going braless wouldn't bother me so much. I don't care about my nipples sticking out (just so long as you can't ACTUALLY see them) or anything. But there are exercizes you can do to tighten the muscles in your chest, and I plan to join my old gym again now that I'm moved back and settled, so maybe that won't be an issue for too much longer.

Hi corvusmachina, No

Hi corvusmachina,

No worries. Society tells us to wear bras and that our natural breast shape and breast movement are not acceptable. So I can understand your hesitation.

BellaFigura that's good advice.

I don't have eczema but I gave a classmate some shea butter for hers and she found it benificial. I just use it as a body moisturizer (coconut oil for my face) Not all shea butters are the same, but here is a good reliable fair trade seller.

A pound of shea will last you months.

I now realise how awful that

I now realise how awful that comment makes me sound, so let me elaborate- I live in a tourist city. During the spring and summer my backyard, the beach, is covered in people. But I don't care where you are in the world, even if it is a beach town- YOU PUT ON CLOTHES WHEN YOU GO TO THE GROCERY STORE. I once saw three girls that were twice as big as me when I weighed 250 pounds (not as bad as it sounds, I'm nearly six feet, but still) wearing nothing but string bikinis and board shorts, and all I could think was, "You wouldn't catch me dead in that."

I'm really glad that there are people who can accept themselves, and I honestly don't really care about being really skinny or looking like a supermodel because I'd have to lose another 90 pounds or so (putting me about 110-120, yikes!) and I'd rather look healthy.

But the biggest issue I have with going braless (in my own case, I don't expect everyone else to have this problem) is I can't get my boobs to stay in place. At all. The only time I had any success was with a corseted ballgown that had to be re-tied about 50 times when I wore it. I dunno, maybe one of those tank tops with built-in bra pads and not just the elastic thing might work better. If I can find one.

C...you may be too

C...you may be too self-conscious...

as Palesa explained the bra IS what's exacerbating your problems not your tits...try her techniques for a few weeks and I'll bet you'll not have the pain and excessive sag issues...

ps: also try letting go of judging other fat girls and you'll find you'll love your own body more...

I WISH I could go braless. I

I WISH I could go braless. I hate the stupid things so much. But I have DDs so I need the support- my tits have the awful tendency to sag halfway down to my stomach five minutes after I take my bra off, not to mention it hurts. A lot of that has to do with the fact that I gained a lot of weight in a small amount of time and I'm still trying to lose it.

But no matter what I do, even with tank tops with built-in bras, I always end up going back to the old torture device. I hate looking like the fat girl that refuses to believe she's overweight, and trust me, I see a lot of that living in Florida so I know how terrible it looks.

Of course... I'm the type to cover up a problem if it bothers me, whether anyone else can actually see it or not. That's why I'm wearing leggings in the summertime (eczema).
