This has me so mad. A few days ago someone vandalized Sienna Miller's residence by spray painting the word "SLUT" on the front of her house.
Now, for those of you who don't read celebrity gossip blogs like I do to catch anything pro-sex that I can link to, Sienna Miller is dating a recently separated man who has 3 children. She met him after he was separated but the talk of the town is that after Jude Law and now the new guy that she's a homewrecker.
She isn't married. She didn't violate any wedding vows. These men did. They are the ones who deserve to be branded as "sluts" not her. Both men were separated and divorcing when she met them. She didn't go after them or seek them out.
Why do we always put the pressure on women to "do the right thing" whatever the fuck that is? Why do women bear the brunt of regulating sexuality? Why are men treated like helpless sheep? Aren't they men - powerful and in control? Why don't we use the mistress argument to discredit men and their ability to be President, "you never know who they're going to be fucking when the red phone lights up"...they could nuke a country because they're getting a blow job?"
