Older Women Younger Men

This one really pissed me off when I read it. Older women who date younger men are referred to as "cougars". It makes us sound like we're out for the kill...desperate or worse, raping men. Men have done this for how many years?? What do we call them? Why are they given the high five but a woman is called a cougar?
Here's part of the story with the link to the rest:

A woman dating much younger men is a dating trend that seems to be growing. The urban dictionary calls them "cougars" but women don't necessarily like the nickname for this trend.

Cougars were defined as woman close to or older than 40 years old who like much younger men. These are usually successful career women who said they're just looking to let loose and have a little fun, according to the urban dictionary.

The women NBC 10 spoke to said it's easier to do that with the younger, 20-something guys. There's not as much baggage or pressure to build a relationship.

Many years ago, when I was only 19, I had the PLEASURE of a very brief encounter with an older woman.

She taught me things that may have taken half a lifetime to learn without that experience. It was just terrific and I treasure the memory.

As it turns out, I have spent some time documenting the moments that either defined my sexuality or have just lived long in my mind.

I will post my experience with this woman quite soon into the Fantasy Fiction section. Even though it actually happened and the experiences are essentially true, I have obviously embellished things such as describing our orgasms and have created dialogue that has mostly long been forgotten. I have done this in an attempt to make it more enjoyable for the reader.

Strangely, I’m not sure why I have spent the time doing it except to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the recollections of these incidents. The writing provides me with wonderful thoughts to fantasise with during my masturbation sessions.

Originally I was going to post my experiences chronologically on an erotic literature website starting with my first experience and finishing quite recently. But seeing this topic has been raised here I’ll break that concept by publishing this one on the Fantasy Fiction topic for anyone interested in reading it.

Thanks

I hate the word cougar. On the rare occasion I go to a bar men are calling me cougars. One group of young men kept harassing me to dance with their friend. They would not stop calling me cougar and all night long they kept interupting my conversations with people who were MY AGE!!! It was quite clear that I was interested in a mature man my age and he was interested in me. I met him through a friend at my house earlier that evening. We were together. Yet these young desperate fools would not stop calling me cougar and harassing me to dance with their friend!!!!!! STUPID IDIOTS!!

Apparently every woman 30yrs old and up in a bar is a cougar, even if she never dates younger men!!!!!!!!!!!

No, they were just assholes.

No, they were just assholes. Although realistically, if you go to a bar, a pickup joint, a meet market, a place where people go to get laid, you more or less have to expect people to be like that. Even if you don't have a big sign around your neck that says "I'm available", the fact that you're there at all is all the encouragement some people need.

You could have tried the old husband trick to get them to go away. Put your hand over your friends (so they can't see the lack of a ring) and say "Sorry, but I don't want to make my man jealous." Or just tell them to fuck off and pester someone else before you tell a bouncer they're harassing you. Your choice.

Perv. Pedo. Cradle Robber. And even when people don't have a name for it, they still have an opinion. "Jesus Christ, you're old enough to be her father!" for example. People are hardly approving of older men with younger women. "Lucky bastard" sentiment aside, unless the guy is in his 80s and practically kicking down Death's door, people tend to look at the older guy as a predator, manipulating some 'sweet young thing' to get what he wants.

but, wait... Why is it always the older one's choise necessarily.
I've got a track record of going primarily for women older then myself. Does that mean it was their choice or mine.

Now, I'll admit, I haven't been in the double-decade age-difference yet. But I've had 2 or 3 relationships with women close to or more than 10 years older then myself.

Why is it that society thinks it's always the choice of the older person. I have my own fucking free will, and I made those choices. Nobody twisted my arm to be with an older woman.

Now...I prefer younger men. They have a fresh outlook on things. I like to have a good time with them. ;) I also think that if it came to dating I would go younger. But I don't mind men my age or a bit older. It worked for Demi and Ashton.... madonna and guy ..... so maybe it will work for me.:p
