I was wondering if anyone here had information on Bodysex workshops? On one of Betty and Carlin's recent videos they mentioned that Bodysex is happening in Portland but they didn't give any details... so I would LOVE if someone had that info to share! I'm pretty new to Portland and don't even know where I'd find that information so I thought I'd give this place a try. :D It would mean the world to me to attend one of these.

Hi--I am looking for the same in the Seattle area.  I think this site would be a great way to connect people and help them form Bodysex groups.  I have mentioned this desire before, and never received any feedback.  Maybe as the new DVD is more widely distributed, things will start happening.
Perhaps I am a bit hypocritical in that I am not willing to do this with my friends.  I do want anonymity.  There is certainly the desire to keep this separate from my home life, for fear of judgment and rejection.
I agree that being in a Bodysex group seems like it would be a very healing experience.  I think a lot of women feel that way, and would benefit from it.

I'm near Seattle and interested as well. A little nervous, have some reservations, but I also haven't seen the video yet-- pretty sure those reservations will disappear. :o)

Well..we now have 3 of us who are interested.  I'm totally willing to fly to either of your cities.
And I agree on the annonymity.  I'm new to this but already aware that
there is NO way I can talk about any of this with my dear female
friends.  My best friend of over 50 years just brisstled when I said
"I'm putting some focus on self pleasure this year"  and her shoulders
jumped up an inch. 
I'm guessing that if we got enough women for a workshop we could email Betty or Carlin for some guidance?

Wow!  It seems like we could actually get something together, especially if you are willing to come to Seattle, and if the lady from Portland can come to Seattle as well. However, I am not opposed to coming to Portland--it just makes it a bit difficult to work it out with family obligations.  For me, it would be best if we could consolidate it to just one day.  Perhaps get a nice hotel suite, and everyone can contribute to that cost.
I agree we could get guidance from Betty and Carlin, but also using their videos for guidance could be enough.  They also have some good questions on "Orgasmic Women: 13 Self-Loving Divas," which I have.   
What is the minimum number of women we want?  This is quite exciting!

Just checking in again.  Still waiting for my "donor" copy of the DVD--very much looking forward to it!  I think Carlin said a couple of weeks ago on a video podcast that they would be mailed out any time now.  I did email Betty, and asked her about forming a group.  She said she and Carlin would discuss how the website might be a support, and that sometime soon she would post some "how-tos" about running a group.  
I would love it if somehow the website could allow those interested in a specific group location to securely share email addresses in order to coordinate with each other.  I really don't think we want to post our email addresses for all to see.  Also, the other ladies who have commented on this thread (including the one who started it) have not replied again.  If people aren't checking the website regularly, they won't see new replies, so email would be a better mode of communication.
Betty's original Bodysex groups contained more like 10 women, I believe.  That does seem like a lot.  I think the new group had less, and 5-6 seems like a good number to share costs.

Good job on the followup items.  I agree about email.  I'm thinking about creating a temp id, post it here, u email my temp id, I give u my personal id and then nuke the temp id?  Then we can communicate?
I'm watching the workshop online here.  It really is incredible.
Let me know what u think about the temp id approach.

I'm not sure how the temp id works.  Would it allow email?  I am not technologically gifted, so please excuse my ignorance!  But yes, something like that would be great, at least for the two of us, who are so far the most interested.  Eventually, it would be good to be able to somehow ping the other 2 who have been in this thread, and also find one or two additional ladies.
