I am posting this article for two reasons; a young woman life was cut short  and how many time have I or anyone else for that matter went out with friends and never thought for once something bad might happen to you? I knew Rebecca personally.I use to work with Rebecca and her mother at my last job.  She was a sweet, kind hearted, fun person. She disappeared last week and her parents found out about her death today. As a parent I am heart broken and as a woman I am angry as hell no woman deserves this fate.

As some of you know carlin and I have been friends since we were 17. Our late teens and early 20's were spent having fun. I left the club many times with guys I didn't know well and never thought of the consequences. To think I could have ended up a victim brutally murdered.Sends shivers down my spine. what is wrong with the human mind ???? That they have to be so devious and take an innocent life so violently???? My heart aches for Rebacca's mother Barbra who is just as wonderful as her daughter. Loosing a child is devistating!!!  I hope they are able to find her killer and he gets the maximum sentence.

The worst part of this story

The worst part of this story is that her killer used her phone to text her parents that she was ok and implicate her boyfriend.  She was killed by someone she knew...someone who envied her beauty, her boyfriend - when you burn someone to death that's real rage.

As women, we need to always be aware of the people around us because they pose the biggest threat.  Beauty only invites abuse.
