Victory!  Germany's most popular women's magazine "Brigitte"is banning professional models and replacing them with real normal sized people.  The editor says she is fed up with having to retouch pictures of models who bore no resemblance to real women.

Keine modelle bitte!  Perfect!

Real clothes on real people!  Pass the Champagne!

I live in Frankfurt/Germany and am a life-long reader of BRIGITTE (almost 30 years). Excellent initiative, it even made the nightly news here.

Yes the germans have it right. In my opinion everyday women should be used with models they all look the same, but everyday women each have different body shapes and styles that make each of them special, and beautiful.
