Hi All,

Well, this is a lifelong journey, is it not (finding yourself again)?  I am here to expand my horizons, and hopefully take some new info to heart that I did not know before.  I am a survivor of Intimate Partner Abuse (that lasted for seven years) from my "feminist" past partner, and after a long, long time of understanding how it effected me, I have realized that I was stripped of a lot of my own sexuality.  As I head towards work and a career path that will eventually end up with a Ph.D., I am wanting to get more involved in the communities at large, including web communities... so, I am here.  I hope to make the most of it here.
