Better Orgasms. Better World.
I've noticed some of you on here do sexual education and blog sites like this one. I'm wondering if you have any general advice for a beginner such as myself on how to get into this, and if one could even make a living at it?
I work for an adult cable television conglomorate right now in the programming department, and while in some ways it has been great and I am finally working in the sex industry without having to sell my body in one form or another (which by the way I'm totally cool with, I just don't think I have a body that could make me much money anymore if you know what I mean), but I really feel stuck sometimes. I'm not being creative and I'm not helping others to learn more about sex. I think ultimately it is my goal to somehow use my love of sex and what little sexual knowledge I have gained in my 28 years to help others in learning about and having better sex. But I don't know where to start...
School is not exactly an option, though I do leave that idea a little open ended. What I'm really interested in is the idea of just up and starting a website. Of course, I also have no HTML or other internet related skillz to speak of. To all of you out there who have started a website similar to this, or even if it's just a blog, how much knowledge did you feel you needed to have going into it. Both of a sexual and technical nature? Or did you just jump right in?
I wish that I just knew what the next step was towards transitioning into a "business" of my own. I know what you're saying "come up with and idea!" or "make a business plan!" But I can't help that nagging feeling that it isn't that simple.
Any advice you can think of would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I was just talking to Betty
I was just talking to Betty about doing a series of audio podcasts on how to become a sex coach. If you plan on doing "hands on" therapy then don't bother going to school because you won't get a license.
I'll keep you posted.
