Atheist Bus Campaign Goes International

Carlin and I were discussing whether or not we should post the Atheist Bus again and we decided "Yes". After all, religion is what damages more people's sexuality than anything else on the planet.

Ariane Sherine, the woman behind the Atheist Bus Campaign, has just announced that 800 buses - instead of the 30 they were initially aiming for - are now rolling out across the UK with the slogan, "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life", in locations all over England, Scotland and Wales, including Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, York, Cardiff, Devon, Leeds, Bristol and Aberdeen. Girl Arrested For Assault With Deadly Breasts

Thank you, Marty Klein, for the link.  Yet another teenager has been arrested on felony charges of assaulting other teens' eyes with a deadly weapon-nude pictures of herself.

This Ohio case is particularly smirky because the crime occurred immediately after a County prosecutor visited the kid's high school, warning students about the prison sentences awaiting them if they receive or send sexual images of classmates on their cell phones. In classic teen fashion, the girl apparently took the warning as a dare. Or perhaps she was just really aroused by the law enforcement presentation.

The Global Battle Over Women's Bodies

Women are the future. Always were and always will be. Michelle Goldberg has put out a new book, The Means of Reproduction: Sex, Power and the Future of the World about the global battle over reproductive rights, which pits feminists and family planning advocates against an international alliance of Christian, Mormon and Muslim religious fundamentalists.

To write it, she spent two years traveling the world, reporting on issues like population control, abortion, female circumcision, Asia's missing girls and Europe's birth dearth to show how the battle over women's bodies has been globalized.

2009 Predicted to be The Year of Sex

And it's all because of female sexual energy and economic power. By 2019, 2/3s of America's wealthy will be women. Watch out world!

People are in for a lot of sex in the New Year - and the reason is, women's growing economic power. The power around the world will give them more choices, and one of those choices, apparently, will be to have more sex. The prediction is contained in The Futurist magazine which compiles the forecasts and predictions of assorted visionaries.

Perhaps that has some bearing on another forecast: "Americans may turn away from antidepressants." According to the anthropologist who made this prediction, the 100-million antidepressant prescriptions, Americans take "kill the sex drive" but many may quit taking them.

Dear Obama, The Nine Steps to Peace

America needs to end our dependence on war which takes care of our dependencey on oil. Thank you Deepak Chopra:

You have been elected by the first anti-war constituency since 1952, when Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected after promising to end the Korean War. But ending a war isn't the same as bringing peace. America has been on a war footing since the day after Pearl Harbor, 67 years ago. We spend more on our military than the next 16 countries combined. If you have a vision of change that goes to the heart of this country's deep problems, ending our dependence on war is far more important than ending our dependency on foreign oil.

The most immediate changes are economic. Unless it can make as much money as war, peace doesn't stand a chance. Since aerospace and military technologies remain the United States' most destructive export, fostering wars around the world, what steps can we take to reverse that trend and build a peace-based economy?

Most Will Smooch Pooch on New Years Eve

Oh, Lola!  You'll get the second kiss ;)

More people will kiss their dog than another human when the New Year rolls in, according to a new poll.

Women are 4½ times as likely to spend New Year's Eve with a pet than men are. Democrats are more likely than Republicans to do so, according to the Zogby/Times Square New Year's Eve National Poll.

"We've discovered over the four years that we've been conducting this survey that people love seeing in the New Year with their pet," said Tim Tompkins, president of the Times Square Alliance. "I guess it's that pure joy and unconditional optimism that animals have that people love to be around."

Hourglass Girls are the Happiest

I love a variety of women's body types, but a small waistline and curvaceous hips have always been a hot spot for me:

A new study has revealed that size 14 women are the happiest with their life and looks. Girls who wear the dress size rated their general happiness higher than any other with a quarter saying they were extremely happy.

More than 43 per cent of size 14 women also said they were as happy as they could be with their career, while almost a third say they couldn't be more content with their love life.

Second happiest, according to the research by Special K, are size 12 women, with almost three quarters saying they are completely satisfied with their friendships.

Be Careful When Sexing in Your Car!

Word to the Wise: A naked couple had to be pulled from a freezing river after their car plunged off the bank while they were making love.

The couple told rescue workers in Moscow that they had driven to the beauty stop, beside the Lihoborka River, for a kiss and a cuddle.

But their passion proved too strong for the car's brakes and the next thing they knew the car slid into the icy water, reports daily newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda. Rescuers winched the driver and his 26-year-old girlfriend to safety where paramedics treated them for exposure.

One Year Anniversary of Benazir Bhutto's Assassination

How different things would be today if she was still alive. Pakistan has marked a year since the assassination of Benazir Bhutto with a two-minute silence, while thousands of mourners visited her mausoleum.

President Asif Ali Zardari, her widower, used the occasion to call for peace and democracy in Pakistan and the resolution of problems through talks. Analysts say the call was also aimed at India, which blames the recent attack on Mumbai on Pakistani militants.

Mrs Bhutto died in a suicide attack in Rawalpindi after an election rally. Mourning ceremonies focused on the Bhutto family mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, in the southern province of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon says he expects an independent inquiry into her death to be set up soon.

Obama Rocks the Swim Trunks

Yes, he's hotter than George Bush but does he have the balls to "change" this country (change connotes sacrifice)? I was opposed to the whole Rick Warren thing until my boyfriend set me straight: he is serving up some crumbs to the GOP and the religious right. It's a throw away. The real positions are going to the intellectuals and the scientists.

I had this weird dream the other night where Obama was telling me how he was behind what Betty and me were doing with the site.  Was it a fantasy? Yes.  Was it the usual fantasy? No, he wasn't naked.  I wasn't naked. What happens when you get to the point where you just want to be heard instead of f*cked?
