Here is a post on an latimes blog featuring the Ryan Seacrest radio show that Jessica Simpson was on recently. Scroll down after the post and you can play the radio interview. This also in response to her hot nude photo on the cover of Elle Magazine, which I saw yesterday.
Jessica was asked how her love life with her fiancee Eric Johnson was going and she told everyone with great delight, "The big 'O' is like the biggest 'O' ever,"
I'm blogging on this because I'm always happy to see women being real about their sex lives and celebrating it. It shows what is possible out there in sexual enjoyment. Also, to quantify what Jessica said on her biggest 'O' ever, think about it: her uterus contracts in orgasm, which is normally housed in a very small area inside her lower abdomen. Now it takes up space all the way up to her diaphragm. Imagine what that must feel like. I have heard of women reporting how the orgasm fills their stomach and others say it stays down in the genitals, but that there's a giant contracting inside them from chest to groin.
To be fair, not all women feel sexy during pregnancy and that's okay. That said, I do support pregnant sex because of the hormone cocktails and new structural characteristics that a woman gets to feel only during pregnancy. I've read accounts where some parents decide to have another because the sex is so hot in addition to the desire for more children.
I'd love to hear some comments to this blog by women with how sex was good or amazing during pregnancy, especially late term. Also the challenges they faced for orgasm and sexytime.

I found Jessica's comments about her pregnancy incredibly refreshing as I'd not heard anyone in the public eye, or even my own circle mirroring my own thoughts. I was blessed to have been entirely nausea/complication free, felt the most beautiful & sexy I'd ever felt my entire life & enjoyed sex of one form or another every single day of my pregnancy - even at 42 weeks in a futile attempt to get her to move out of there!
At the time (7 years ago) no-one really talked about this wonderful side effect of all those hormones running wild, or that your entire body was so incredibly sensitive to touch - in a great way! In fact it was more frowned upon with an overwhelming attitude of "You've already done your dash & achieved your aim. Why are you bothering?" or "Aren't you worried about the effect on the baby?" or that your energies should be focused elsewhere & you should give up being a sexual being. Which is a crying shame.

So glad I came across this all though it was posted a while back. Sex during pregnancy for myself was like: omgthisisthebestestever! I am happy to report that since experiencing the wonders of pregnant sex I am sure to inform all my newly pregnant friends and family the awesomeness of it. Yes, the orgasms were HUGE and went on for a considerable amount of time longer than non preggers orgasms. I personally found myself the most horny the last trimester and enjoyed sex up until sometime shortly before giving birth. The only challenge we had was toward the end missonary became comical and we would end up giggling over it. One interesting note was that during the birth of my second child (whom I had at home vs. Hospital birth the first go around) was that during the delivery I felt like I almost came while baby was making her entrance and after the introductions while i was in the shower with my boyfriend I felt the most sexually empowered I have ever felt and enjoyed my last Big O just hours after giving birth...
