Uterine Tilt, Pelvic Massage & Jerry Brent

I just had a woman write in to me saying she was interested in learning more about resolving uterine tilt issues that she or maybe a friend of hers has. It just so happened that I was able to help her. I referred her to Jerry Brent. Here's a link to a pelvic massage workshop taught by Jerry like one I took with him two years back that gave me brand new information on uterine tilt and its role in women's health both sexual and non-sexual.

I remember one of the things he said in the workshop that struck me was how OBGYN's traditionally think nothing much of uterine tilt. That it's varied from woman to woman for the most part and that's that; nothing more to say or of interest. Jerry will teach you how it can matter. I was recently revisiting the role of the positioning of the cervix in relation to intercourse pleasure and possibilities that some women have and others do not in my own work.

Jerry has a private practice where he does pelvic massage, both internal via the vagina and external via various massage protocols. Yes, that's what I said. Therapeutic massage via the vagina. Sounds sketchy? Check out the link above, read about Jerry, and draw your own conclusions. I met the guy, took his weekend workshop, saw his work, and from what I could tell in both him and his method, he's a good man with a new and valuable practice. If you have pelvic bowl pain and/or low back pain that won't go away and isn't diet, back, or gastro-intestinally related, give Jerry a look-see.

For those new to my blog, I write on my and others' sex life, in erotica form, because many of us need only read of an example of what really is possible. It so often lights a desire to "Want to do that. Feel that." They want to learn how to have better sex through sex advice and sex education, maybe for the first time in their lives. I also intend to present to my readers the reality of great sex from basic to advanced. Finally, ever wonder how good the sex that your sex therapist is having in their own sex life? I have. I'm not a sex therapist, I don't do sex therapy. I'm a sex life coach. I teach and I do.

For people who might think this sounds odd? I deal with chronic pelvic pain and was referred to a physical therapist. During our first PT session, which did include an internal exam, the therapist discovered that I hold a tremendous amount of tension in my pelvic floor and hips. She formulated a yoga routine for me, which has helped greatly. I do notice a huge difference in the amount of pain I have if I skip a few yoga sessions. If I was in Jerry's area, I would certainly seek him out. I think pelvic massage and physical therapy is not nearly as well-known as it should be. I have been dealing with pelvic pain for at least 12 years and it was not until a year ago that this option was ever brought up.
