Here's the link to a recent interview with me on Tantra related issues in all my barely-there-southern-accented glory. ;)

It was broadcast on internet radio on the show, Tantra Cafe hosted by Laurie Handlers. It starts out sounding like I'm going to bash Tantric sex, but I don't; instead clarifying in the first section of the interview how I question the paths prepared for people by neo-Tantra vs old world Tantra. We then transition to discussing boundaries in sex and as observed, or not, in the so-named "sacred sexuality" community, which includes more methods for spirituality and metaphysics in sex than Tantra alone.

What I mean by boundaries is the awareness, or lack thereof, of what is okay in the present moment for someone to do to you physically or energetically defined by what is given permission to take place without coersion or intimidation. Also barriers, which can share the same space as boundaries sometimes, are hang-ups or physical limitations which prevent a fully expressed sex life or engaging in an individual sex activity. Barriers can be there without boundaries, meaning it's okay for your partner to touch you somewhere, but they are blocked from enjoying it because of negative or neutral emotions or perspectives that the person with them would prefer they not had. Not the same as boundaries.

My previous blog post on this theme was referenced after Laurie read it and discussed on the show, all names removed from the show of those involved. Laurie was happy that I had spoken out.
