Barbie Makers to Sue Over Lesbian Calendar

Disney hates gay characters and Matell doesn't like their Barbies photographed in sapphic scenes.

Matell - the makers of Barbie - is suing two artists who put out a lesbian Barbie calendar.  The whole point was to show how sex is used to sell everything in our culture.  So they took typical sex kitten shots with naked Barbies posed in lesbian situations.

Matell's European spokeswoman Dr Stephanie Wegener said: "We have nothing to do with these pictures. We don't want Barbie portrayed in this way, especially with our logo. We will be taking legal action against the creators."

When I was a little girl, Barbie was bisexual and we always posed her in compromising sexual positions.  We never thought to take pictures of our handiwork.  To be born before the digital age...

It's right up there with the love scene from Team America :)

What a hoot. I had a huge collection of Barbie's when I was young and I did exactly the same thing with them. Isn't that what everyone does with their Barbies? I mean, isn't that what Barbie dolls are for in the first place? I remember using a magic marker to draw genitals and nipples on most of mine as well. Those totally bare areas just seemed so wrong. Unfortunately I also used to ruin them by taking them into the bathtub.

I thought for the longest time something was wrong with me because Barbie is smooth and I have long inner lips, that I too like Betty thought was from childhood masturbation, but Barbie was one of the worst things because I thought I was suppose to be smooth, and not have something dangling "down their" ugh...the problem with Barbie, but I find it hilarious some one did a calendar with Barbie being natural sexual....and that's a problem.
