Natural Breast Enhancements with Your Own Body Fat

OMG!  The stampede is going to be worse than a Dolce & Gabanna sample sale.  And I have to admit that as a woman with large "ass"ets I'd love to suck a bit of fat out and pump it into my breasts.  Am I still a feminist?

Women are to be offered "natural breast enlargements" using unwanted fat from other parts of their bodies, it has been announced.  The technique will be made available "early next year", according to the Harley Medical Group.

It has been trialled in Britain following a 10-year study on global developments within fat grafting.

Dubbed the "two in one" operation, surgeons transfer a patient's unwanted fat from areas such as the hips, thighs and stomach into the breast area.

The procedure is likely to cost around £8,000 when it becomes commercially available.

Two of the medical group's surgeons have already been trained in the US, with a further delegation of eight surgeons to be trained in the procedure before the end of this year.

Harley Medical Group chairman Mel Braham said: "This is the most exciting breakthrough in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery that I have seen over the last two decades.

"It amounts to two beneficial procedures in one - taking unwanted fat from one or two areas of a patient's body and transferring it into the breast area.

"We have now completed a study of the results of UK and US patients who had the procedure four and five years ago, to confirm that the results are lasting.

"Following some final reviews by our Medical Board, we should be in a position to launch this procedure in the UK early next year."

The brazilian butt augmentation has been done here for a few years,by dr. david matlock. With a simliar procedure of tranfering unwanted fat from other areas into the buttock area. But my concern would be how safe is it?? Would it interfer with the milk ducts for future breast feeding???? I am sure it is a lot better for the body to insert fat into the area. But the poking and proding of the breast tissue has me a bit wary. Only time will tell. Once this procedure is perfected I would definately go for it. Laughing

Well behaved women,rarely make history.

*sigh*

Once again I guess small breasts are gonna get pushed right out of "the ideal". finally women were starting to come to terms with their bodies and take out their implants bc of the dangers it posed to women, and now we're gonna go back to a new kind of breast augmentation. I wish it was ok to have small breasts in this society..i wish no one wanted to change that or make it seem like you must be so inadequate if you dont find something to stuff into your chest-be it fat or plastic..

get in line now...

I'm 51, have been obese for most of my adult life. Am finally taking off the weight (down 65 lbs, at least 40 more to go). The saggies and flatties are depressing the hell out of me. (Puns intended...) Am I shallow and superficial because I want my boobs plumped up? Yes I am! Am I looking forward to doing this? Hell yes!!!

*double sigh*

Agh! I definitely sympathize with fem85 here. Apparently a large portion of the men in this world PREFERRING small breasts isn't enough to convince women of this world that its okay to have them.

Whether its plastic, or your own fat, this surgery is STILL teaching women that its not okay to look how they do, and that they should spend all kinds of money, and risk surgery, just so they can more closely resemble what the media and our culture tells them they ought to look like.

This obsession we seem to have with plastic surgery is eternally frustrating to me. Why can't we just learn to accept ourselves for who we are?
