Thank you, Alan Ball, for the Man Candy

Episode 1 of True Blood was ok but last night's episode was a total crowd pleaser.  First, we had Jason Stackhouse running around the football field shirtless.  Then, they amped up Tara's new love interest (totally hot black guy with a seedy past) with a shirtless yard work scene.  And then they finished it up with Eric - the hot blond vampire - feasting on Lafayette dripping in homoerotic everything.

It's so refreshing to watch intellectual, sensual content that's directed towards a woman's sensibility.  I'm so sick of lipstick lesbians and fantasy shopping montages.  Finally, a producer that gets where my perverted mind dwells and delivers.  Thank you, Alan Ball.  I can't wait for next week's episode.

Man candy on True Blood has

Man candy on True Blood has me waiting for the next episode every week, that's for sure!!

However i find the message against marginalisation of the different also very importand. The strugle of a social group to be accepted by the majority that doesn't accept or even hates them has an analogy to the very real problems anybody wanting to be "different" faces today.
