A study has found that a man looks at a woman for an average of 8.2 seconds if he is attracted to her - but more like four seconds if he's not The men looked into the eyes of actresses they considered beautiful for an average of 8.2 seconds, but that dropped to 4.5 seconds when gazing at those they rated less attractive.
The female students, however, did not differ in the amount of time they spent looking at the actors, the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior reported. The researchers believe that men use eye contact to seek out fit and fertile mates. But women are more wary of attracting unwanted attention because of the risks of unwanted pregnancy and single parenthood.
Looking
Maybe women don't look as long because there are not really that many good-looking men these days and that includes actors (Drew Cary comes to mind). Gay men tend to have fit bodies so I usually look at gay porn. Straight men have it made. They can be fat, bald, and wear those hideous big fat-boy pants and still get laid. I don't buy that crap that women are not visually stimulated. I personally am, but there is not much to look at, at least where I am from. I also think that the lack of hot-looking men could be why some women are considered "frigid". They are just not turned on by this fat, shaved-head, big pants look. I miss men with nice hair!!!!
Looking
I miss men with nice hair too. I'd love to see more of them with nice long flowing locks.
I think this is a mix of there not being that many attractive men and the fact that some guys can't take a hint. I'm angrily trying to fend off unwanted attention at work. Just because I look or manage to smile in some random jackoff's general direction does not mean I want any of their attention. I want to be nice about saying no, but it's not like that EVER works. Whoever created the idea that no=playing hard to get, needs to be shot.
