When I was a little girl I wanted to be a mermaid - pre-Ariel days of course.

And they don't even have a vagina.  Maybe that was the allure.

I love mermaids too, and I feel the reason Mermaids are perceived erotic is because they exude such honesty in there bodies, they move in the open sea like an unvesseld ship, unleashed, unharnessed, wild and free.....yet they hold the intimacy of a magical goddess...Atargatis ( lady goddess of the sea) goddess Atargatis, The 'Syrian goddess', the 'fish goddess'. A fertility goddess represented at Ascalon as half woman, half fish. This is one of my favorite pictures of a mermaid by John William Waterhouse.

Yes, I also find mermaids hella sexy, centaurs are erotic, winged humans/angels too. There is something about human and animal mixes that are very sexy. You know Mermaids totally could have vagina's and clitorises... dolphins do.
