Rollingstone Covers GOP Voter Fraud

Mon, 10/20/2008 - 12:09

While FOX news makes a big deal out of ACORN, a community group that registers new voters, thanks to the Bush White House, the Federal Govt has put new rules in place that could disenfranchise many Democrat's votes. Unless we have a landslide for Obama, the unscrupulous, sneaky GOP could steal the election AGAIN.

Rolling Stone Magazine is making this important investigative story available on the net in its entirety, free of charge.

Read this excerpt, then read it all on-line at Or download it all, with the Kennedy-Palast voter guide, Steal Back Your Vote, at

"The new registrations thrown out, the existing registrations scrubbed, the spoiled ballots, the provisional ballots that were never counted - and what you have is millions of voters, more than enough to swing the presidential election, quietly being detached from the electorate by subterfuge.

"Jim Crow was laid to rest, but his cousins were not," says Donna Brazile. "We got rid of poll taxes and literacy tests but now have a second generation of schemes to deny our citizens their franchise." Come November, the most crucial demographic may prove to be Americans who have been denied the right to vote.

The Feminisation of Pornography

After confronting my first case of censorship over images of my erotic art in the seventies, I knew I wanted to produce the first "feminist porn." By the time I got into video production in the nineties, I coined the term "Erotic Sex-Ed" for what I was doing. By then, porn was so totally predictable that I didn't want to use the term. Now the timing is perfect. The Paris women are right on target with their festival showing porn by and for women. I bet these women will approve of our new site that's been called: "The best sex on the web":

A group of French intellectuals has now gone one step further in the quest to integrate hardcore erotica into mainstream cinema by holding Paris's first alternative pornographic film festival: a no-holds-barred celebration of X-rated action that organisers say showcases a new wave of progressive porn that not only titillates but empowers. Bobby Kennedy Jr. and Greg Palast have had it UP TO HERE. They stole 2000. They stole 2004. Now, they're snatching it again. So Bobby and Greg are doing the most important thing they can do in a crisis of democracy: write an investigative comic book.

How The Candidates Vote On Women's Issues

I grew up in a family with a working mother and father struggling to pay the rent and feed a family of four kids. Back in 1970, when I marched down Fifth Avenue in the first Women's Rights demonstration I would never have guessed that 38 years later we'd be fighting the same battle. Come to think of it, I'm still trying to liberate masturbation, so why am I surprised?

Both Candidates Say They Favor Equal Pay, but How Do They Vote?

While media cover the economic bailout plan in great detail, few outlets have paid attention to how working women and families are doing in the face of an economic crisis. Economic issues like pay discrimination, paid family and medical leave, and flexible work hours get little attention or lip service from pundits. But the candidates running for president this year have very different views on these issues. The debates have the opportunity to highlight or hide their stances on issues important to women.

Alaskan Teens Demand Sex Education

Three Cheers for the Alaskan teens demanding sex information that goes beyond the abstinence until married crap! I wonder what the Holy Rolling Governor Palin thinks about them apples? The McCain crew is keeping her extreme religious stand pretty quiet so far.

Alaska Students Demand Sex Education in Schools "We were not informed," 20-year-old says.

Amber Sawyer remembers her classmates, young and giggly and still riding a euphoric teenage high, cutting class and sneaking off with boyfriends to the nearby running trails. In the winter, when the Alaska cold was too much to bear, the same couples, passing on algebra class, would rendezvous at a local theater.

Some girls ended up pregnant. She doesn't know who ended up with a sexually transmitted infection.

Palin: See How Pretty & Feminine I Am?

Palin did much better than I expected. I gotta hand her an A+ for the remarkable cramming she did for her national TV Test. However, I couldn't stop watching the strand of bang that was caught on her eyelash that moved every time she blinked. Women! Please understand that hair in our eyes is NOT sexy or feminine but STUPID. It might make some insecure guys feel better to know we can't see clearly past the hair falling in our faces, but it reinforces women's second class status by stating: "See how pretty and feminine I am?" The Barracuda was there in her tight lips that turned many a smile into a grim determination to win. Notice how religion didn't enter the picture or where Palin stands on women's rights?

Bill Maher's Religulous

I can't wait for carlin and me to be guests on Real Time with Bill Maher.  Then I'll be able to have a face-to-face opportunity to tell Bill how much I have enjoyed his show.  We so agree on how "religulous" America is and, like him, we long for intellectual sanity. Watch the Religulous trailer:

Women of the World NEED Contraception

CONTRACEPTION FOR WOMEN THE WORLD OVER IS CRUCIAL. Poor women can feed the children they have if they have fewer children. Imagine the insanity of the Bush presidency curtailing contraception to poor countries because it's the same as abortion. I'd like to see those greedy old men wearing suits in Congress deal with a hungry, sick, crying child just for one day. Shame, shame, shame on the US government for imposing a cruel sadistic religious morality that causes more suffering for the poor.  Even the UN has failed women:

We Can Solve It

The Alliance for Climate Protection has put together an ad that tells this simple story. And they're going to put it on national cable TV. They have Al Gore's blessing and their push is for clean energy.

If they can raise an additional $80,000 online, they'll also put it on 60 Minutes and 20/20 this coming week. Wouldn't that be great? Watch the clip and donate.

McCain: 2 Packs a Day for 25 Years

At the end of my seventies, I'm in much better health than McCain and I am not on any meds. I have been known however, to occasionally imbibe in the Magic Herb instead of taking an anti-depressant that are known to depress orgasms as well. As healthy as I am, there is no way I would consider running this country. That's a job for a much younger person. The thought of Sarah in charge is terrifying.

A high school friend of mine in Wichita sent this to me several years ago. I adore Rodney and his song. It makes me proud to be a cowgirl. I lost the link but it just came around again from a girlfriend living in Florida. What's better than the world wide web?

Vote for At Your Cervix

Wed, 08/27/2008 - 09:10
Submitted by Betty Dodson

I'm on the advisory board for a forthcoming documentary called At Your Cervix. It's the first feature film ever made aimed at improving pelvic exams, and anyone who has had one, knows they need improvement. The film exposes unethical practices that use women's bodies without their consent while they are anesthetized in order to teach students how to perform exams. That's right, right here in the US and it could happen to you, your wife, your daughter or your mother.

The filmmakers are trying to raise needed finishing funds. I'm asking my readers to go to ideablob and vote for them this week. They need about 1,500 votes to win $10,000.

My Abortion

This is so timely. Carlin and I finally admitted during a podcast that we both had 3 abortions (as Carlin said birth control fails and most guys aren't daddy material).

Anyway, a 23 year old woman has started a blog about her abortion process - it's like Juno but she doesn't keep the baby. It's pretty fucking funny and quite informative.
