I am proud of the years I've been on the planet and want credit for every one of them. The concept of the Crone is the older wise woman. The three stages of womanhood is maiden, matron and crone. In Greek mythology, Baubo is the crone goddesses who still has a functioning orgasmic vagina. She is baudy, tells dirty stories and is always lifting her skirt to flash her pussy. She was even able to get Demeter to laugh herself right out of a depression that had stopped the crops from growing.

Old age is viewed as the worst thing that can happen to a woman. Men develop character and are called "interesting" while young women cling to his arm (because he's got money and power.) Being a wise old woman is one of my biggest assets and my method of confronting ageism.

Native Americans call it "Grandmother wisdom" Our contemporary image of Grandma is a sweet old lady who bakes cookies and baby sits her children's children.
