Hi Betty and Carlin,
There is interest brewing to have a Bodysex group in the Seattle or Portland area. You can see the comment thread in the "New Members" section, under the thread "New here, Question about Bodysex". So far, there seem to be 4 women interested. My question for now is, how can we securely exchange our contact information for organizing this? It would be great if we could somehow get each other's email addresses without posting them for all to see. I would hope nobody would try to crash someone else's Bodysex group, but you never know. Mr. "penis99" just might give it a try.
Later, we might have some questions for you two about how to lead it. We are hoping to use the new DVD for guidance.

Carlin and I discussing the possibilities of how best to support all the women who will want to do a Bodysex Workshop. Of course I will write an essay that would outline the basics. As for worrying about any Mr. Penises, I'd say forget it. No man would feel comfortable walking into a room full of young healthy naked women. Good grief, you could all easily subdue him and throw him out.
I'll forward this to Carlin and see what she has to say. The women's sexual revolution is about to begin. Yipeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I am moving to Fort Collins, Colorado in a few weeks and would LOVE to be a part of this if we could put something together! It'd be sweet if there was enough people in Fort Collins to do it there, but Boulder or Denver would also be great. I'm very interested to be a part of this and to read up on the how-to essay when it comes!

Oh yay! I am trying to figure out how to do something like this with my local community.
One thing I am particularly curious about is how to be inclusive in a group that is for women only. I don't think I have a problem making this an all female space; but there are many people who may be female bodied but not identify as female, or vice versa. Or even gender neutral people with either set of parts. I really envision this being a space that can include anyone who identifies with something feminine- be it through their genitals or more of an internal identity. But I still also want this space to feel safe and feminine for every woman involved, no matter where she is with her understanding with gender identity.

You present a real dilemma.
At first to gain the trust of ciswomen (born female) it's best to avoid different gender identities if possible if you plan to use the advanced form of Bodysex with nudity. If you are gathering your friends to discuss women's sexuality in general, then all would be welcome. All of my different women's groups have grappled with this delimma. When I made trannys welcomed, no one wanted to be a Bodysex group anyway. Don't throw yourself a roadblock before you start. Good luck for sharing the good news.
Marisa...request you write up How to do a Showing
In an offline emailing about doing a west coast workshop, Marisa mentioned she has showings at her home. It would be really useful if Marisa could write up how to do a showing, her experience, suggestions etc. I'm guessing that a showing would be easier for us to pull off initially in our home towns? like perhaps a pre-step toward a workshop?
