Dear L,

We have sonograms of unborn babies, both male and female, touching their genitals inside a mother's uterus. It is also a known fact that infants as well as toddlers are naturally involved touching their sex organs because it feels good. Unfortunately, our religiously driven sick morality tells parents they need to stop or distract any child who masturbates. Most likely you were masturbating at a much younger age and got the same negative message. Everything you've been told about the "dangers of masturbation" is exactly the opposite. On the contrary, not masturbating is damaging to your sexual development. Not having your period has nothing to do with masturbation. I didn't menstruate until I was 16 but I have sweet memories of masturbating from the age of 5. Just enjoy the sensations and don't become obsessed with having an orgasm. They are over quickly so the best part is building up sexual tension. Like they say, getting there is half the fun.
