Better Orgasms. Better World.
Scandalouswomen.com points out that teen girls can have sex but can't buy sex toys in many states:
"The age of consent in the United States varies by state, but is often
around 16. Buying sex toys, on the other hand, is strictly limited in
all states to 18 years and older. Why the contrast?"
Texas, Alabama and Georgia have laws prohibiting the sale of sex toys across the board. It is illegal to sell or distribute "any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs." (Notice how it's legal to buy adult entertainment and cock rings)
I would hope that any teen girl who wants to own a sex toy will
find an older sister or friend to step in and buy one for her. Society
wants to get off on the appearance of teen girls but not to accept that
they have sexual desires of their own. A sex toy will never get her
knocked up!
I bought my 16 year old one
I bought my 16 year old one for her birthday. I told her it was for that same reason....toys won't get you pregnant! Also, she can figure out what she likes and not think a guy is the beginning and end of sex. My hubs & I told her she could have all the girl/girl sex she wanted until moved out! LOLOLOLOL
I knew about the tootbrush, but I'm surprised about the iPhone

Mentor was big help to discovering and developing my orgasm
I was barely 15 when I got my 1st vibrator. I was lucky to have a friend who was old enough and open minded enough to buy it for me. It helped me discover, grow, and learn to love my orgasms. I used up many batteries so thank goodness I was old enough to buy those myself. I'm also certain it kept me from getting pregnant. Although I was very sexually active, it was not intercourse I enjoyed so often. When I finally did want to try intercourse, I was ready and it was always with a condom. Not so for some of my classmates.
I am certain this is what helped me develop the strong and often multiple orgasms I enjoy today. At a healthy and active 25 now, I can't imagine a day without it. When I'm a mom one day, I'll be sure to provide my daughter with the tools she needs.

U.S. lighten up
I was surprised to hear there was actually a LAW in between a sexually active teenage American and her personal vibrator. WoW, now that's a definition of freedom that's beyond even me. Outa the boardroom and into the bedroom as the conservative agenda goes. "Gov't out of the lives of the people" my ass, if reality is any measure!
Eyes off of Wall Street, big pharma, big oil, and instead, all the way across 2000 miles into the deathbed of Terri Schiavo. All the way 300 miles to CA to stop safer drug labeling and stricter environmental laws, legal pot, etc. Bullcrap to their chant of "limited Gov't". Bullcrap to their chant of "states rights". Just bull crap.
Of course, the intelligent and the awake can tell reality apart from the slogans and the bait-and-switch ideology. I doubt they are even aware with eyes so transfixed on a their mirage, like Jim and Tammy Faye Baker followers... and so we fight because reason and facts no longer get through. We ain't even got metric yet-a measure of the long road we gotta hoe to get there. Thank goodness the old right was cast out so we can begin walking again toward the future instead of the trodden past.
In Britain, Sweden, mature European nations, they teach masturbation- an orgasm a day is their slogan, really! Here and in the Church they sit on their erections until they grow cancer of the prostate or worse, grow pedophile priests.
I had a vibrator at 15 and have loved it ever since. I put sex in its proper place, my hands and my control. Leave the judgement of others to their own messed up lives. We got it handled.
