What about thrusting pattern ?

Mary Roach writes in her book "Bonk", in the chapter "Dating the Penis-Camera" about the sex Machine Masters & Johnson used.

She discovered that they preselected the women so that they would orgasm from thrusting. So it's no wonder they did.

But one benefit seems to be that with a machine the woman has immediate  control of speed, angle and depth(and they never get tired). But with a man it's more difficult to get the right speed, because he is doing the right things to stimulate him or he has to stop to prevent ejaculation.

Can a good thrusting rhythm and clitoral stimulation, be better than just clitoral stimulation?
