Desperately Seeking Teen Dick

No, I'm not a pedophile. But there seem to be more and more attractive, married chick teachers who are fooling around with their underage, male students. First, there was Mary Kay LeTourneau but the fact that she married her teen dick and had 2 of his children kind of throws a wrench in the pedophile argument.

It does seem like she just fell in love with the wrong boy....is it any different than Celine Dion and her now-husband manager? They started seeing each other right before her sixteenth birthday. And there are plenty of underage supermodels dating 50-something rockers so we're all aware of the double standard.

Alpha Girls

The new catch phrase to know - "Alpha Girl". An Alpha Girl is a new breed of young women. An alpha girl is an overachiever....she's successful, she's ahtletic, she's accomplished, and she has no concept of the "glass ceiling". It's like when I walk into Sephora and every woman there is listening to her iPod, carrying her "it" bag, shoving items in her basket completely unaware of anything or anyone around her.

Michael Ninn's Catherine

As I look into the eyes of my sleeping lover one morning, I am both frightened and uneasily aroused. During amazing sex, I had this sinking feeling that we were being watched.

And, no, not just by a curious neighbor or jerk-happy peeping tom; but, rather, by a haunting temptress from another time, place, and existence.

To make matters more outrageous, this temptress, whom I've only felt, but never seen, looks exactly like me. Ever since then, I've been searching for resolution, some symbol of hope that can help me determine who this stranger is and why she is watching me fuck this guy I met last night. Thank goodness I found Michael Ninn's Catherine.

My Thoughts on An Inconvenient Truth

This Memorial Day weekend, Eric and I went to see An Inconvenient Truth, the new movie about Global Warming. Al Gore has given this slide lecture over 1000 times around the world. He has developed into a very thoughtful and endearing man who is passionate about his subject. Watching him and listening to what he had to say made my heart ache that he wasn't in the White House where he rightfully belongs. He opens his lecture with the statement, "I used to be the next president of the United States." When the audience laughs, he dead pans, "I don't find that very funny!" More laughter.
